PRESCHOOL WORKSHOPS

We are excited to offer a FUN program just for early learners. Children will engage in meaningful play and learn through discovery as they practice important science skills like making observations, sharing descriptions of what they see, and categorizing their findings. 

Table activities include rock sorting, mineral match up, touching lava rocks, smelling stinky rocks, collecting gemstones, and using digital microscopes.  Access to gem mining and animated sandbox exhibits are also part of the Pre-K program.

In our workshops, everyone gets to take something home to reinforce what was learned.

New classes will be posted soon for individual sign-ups and drop-in activities — or bring your whole class to the Learning Lab for a private event!
